Not much happening here. I am working long hours and come home exhausted. So we haven't been getting out much. We did however get out and go see Grandpaw at the Veterans Home. While I was there my dad asked me to help him with getting something out of the drawer. Pearl took that moment to decide to walk out of the room. I did not see her leave cause my back was to the door. My dogs are really pretty good at staying close by me when we are visiting. Yet, she made it all the way down to the lunch room at the end of the hallway. Trotting by the med nurse and the head nurse in the middle of the hallway on her way. I noticed she was gone when I was thru helping Grandpaw and went looking for her. I wasn't too concern for everyone knows my Pearl and looks out for her. I asked of those in the hallway if anybody has seen her. The nurse's laugh and said ,"yes "quite embarrassed that they didn't stop her from wandering. A second later Big Russ steps out of the lunch room with Pearl by his side. As he is walking out he is looking down at her explaining that she is not to be in the lunch room while they eat and to come back after their done eating. Meanwhile Gretchen is being good waiting just outside of Grandpaw doorway watching and listening to what is going on. You could see Gretchen is thinking way to go Pearl your in trouble not me this time.
